Danone withdraws International Delight coffee creamer bottles from the market
After reports of premature spoilage and illnesses, Danone US, LLC has agreed to a voluntary recall of over 75,000 bottles of International Delight coffee creamer in 31 U.S. states, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This recall affects the flavors of Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll and Hazelnut in 32-ounce bottles, with expiration dates in July 2025.
The company has indicated that the recalled products "do not meet quality standards" and consumer complaints were made concerning discomfort following consumption.
The FDA has classified this recall as Class II, suggesting that the consumption of these products could cause temporary health effects, although severe outcomes are unlikely. Consumers are advised to check the packaging for affected product codes and dispose of them immediately. Those experiencing symptoms like stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea after consumption should consult a healthcare professional and report to the FDA.
