Danone Recalls Non-Dairy Dessert Due to Foreign Material Risk
Danone U.S. has announced a voluntary recall of its So Delicious Dairy Free® Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints. The recall was initiated due to the possible presence of foreign materials, such as small stones, within the cashew inclusions of the product. This recall impacts products with best-by dates before August 8, 2027, and the company is collaborating with retail partners to remove the affected items from store shelves.
The recall, which started on December 15, 2025, involves only this specific flavor and product type, with no other So Delicious Dairy Free® varieties being affected. Danone has informed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about the recall and is taking measures to resolve the issue swiftly. The company has corrected the problem and plans to reintroduce the product soon.
Consumers who have purchased the implicated product are advised not to consume it and can reach out to the So Delicious Dairy Free® Consumer Care Line for refunds. The Consumer Care Line is available at 1-833-367-8975, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm EST. Alternatively, consumers can contact the company through their website.
The packaging graphics for this product underwent a change in February 2025, but there was no alteration to the UPC code. The recall is part of Danone's commitment to product quality and consumer safety, ensuring that consumer experiences are taken seriously.
