Danone inaugurates a new Hub of Innovation in Aldaia, marking its commitment to industrial transformation with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Danone has invested over €60 million in the past five years to transform its Valencian plant into an internationally connected innovation hub. This strategic move aims to integrate production, R&D, and technological development into a sustainable ecosystem. Annually, Danone supports more than 180 innovation projects, utilizing its vast collection of over 4,000 strains to foster functional developments. The Hub emphasizes sustainability, operating with 100% renewable energy, and features 5,680 solar panels, achieving reductions in emissions, water consumption, and carbon footprint. The plant has increased its production capacity by 60% in recent years, exporting 52% of its products to markets like Portugal, Italy, France, and the UK. The inauguration was attended by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Spanish Government, highlighting Danone's industrial innovation commitment and decentralized development.
