Danish Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities in Haryana's Dairy Sector

A 35-member delegation from the Danish Farmers Abroad Association met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to discuss potential investments in the state's dairy and agriculture sectors. The delegation, which included representatives from 20 Danish companies, expressed interest in collaborating with local farmers and entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Saini highlighted Haryana's existing cooperation with Denmark on various projects aimed at enhancing technology, productivity, and innovation in agriculture and animal husbandry. He emphasized Haryana's 'Go Global' approach, which encourages international investment through transparent policies and an investor-friendly environment.

The Chief Minister invited Danish companies to leverage Haryana's robust infrastructure and skilled workforce, promoting business-to-business partnerships for the exchange of technology and expertise. This collaboration is expected to result in improved dairy practices, increased milk production, and higher farm incomes.

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana noted that Haryana's farmers are progressive and open to modern techniques. He also mentioned a previous delegation visit to African countries to study their farming systems and best practices.

The Danish delegation toured several agricultural and dairy farms in Haryana, examining local practices and identifying potential collaboration areas. Their visit aims to pave the way for investments in dairy technology, livestock management, and sustainable farming practices.
