Dairy Couple Achieves Farm Ownership Through Strategic Program in Victoria

Pete and Marnie Kerr have successfully completed their four-year involvement with the WestVic Dairy Focus Farm program, culminating in the acquisition of a dairy farm in Victoria, Australia. Their journey will be highlighted during the Bostocks Creek Field Day on July 9, marking a significant knowledge-sharing event for the region.

The Kerrs transitioned from leasing to owning land in 2022, demonstrating growth in equity and milk production efficiency. This transition was achieved with the support of a structured peer advisory group, which provided continuous guidance from experts and fellow farmers.
