Dairy Prices in Kyrgyzstan See Significant Decline

Dairy products, cheese, and eggs experienced a 4.1% price drop in Kyrgyzstan during the first half of 2025, with notable fluctuations in different regions.

The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported a notable decrease in the prices of dairy products, cheese, and eggs, which fell by 4.1% over the first six months of 2025.
The most significant price reduction was found in the city of Karakol, where prices dipped by 9.5%. Conversely, the Osh region saw a slight price increase of 0.2%.
Overall, prices for these products mostly decreased throughout the period, barring January, which saw a modest increase of 1.1%.
In June, the highest average price for bulk milk was observed in Batken, priced at 70 soms per liter, while Uzgen reported the highest cost for eggs, at 163.37 soms for 10 eggs.
