The latest data shows a mixed performance between Argentina and Uruguay in the dairy trade. While Argentina maintained high export volumes in May, Uruguay ended June with a significant reduction.

Argentina's dairy exports exhibited notable growth in the second half of May, with a total of 14,261 tons representing a 9.8% increase from the first half of the month. However, the average price per ton saw a slight decrease to USD 3,954, 0.6% lower compared to the earlier period. The market spread across 30 buying countries, a slight drop from 32.

- Hard Cheese: USD 6,502.23, +2.01%, 624.83 tons

Key Insights for Uruguay:
Uruguay's dairy exports decreased in volume and value in June, but reached more destinations. Exports totaled 6,404 tons, down 19.9% from the first half of the month. The average price per ton also decreased to USD 4,078, a 4.6% decline. Despite this, the number of destinations increased to 34 markets.
