Argentina's dairy exports witnessed a significant decline in January 2025, with both volume and value dropping sharply compared to the previous month.

Significant Decline in Exports
In January 2025, Argentina's dairy exports experienced a major downturn. The total volume exported was 29,531 tonnes, valued at US$ 116.1 million. This represented a decrease of 13.6% in value and 10.8% in volume compared to December 2024.
Annual Comparison
On a year-over-year basis, dairy exports reduced by 14.6% in volume and 7.5% in dollar value. Additionally, there was a 21.0% decrease in milk equivalent liters.
Price Adjustments
The average export price per tonne reached US$ 3,931, marking an increase of 8.3% from January 2024. Despite this rise, the overall export value in Argentine pesos saw a 29.9% increase relative to the same month last year, amidst various economic factors influencing the dairy sector.
