Cooperativa De Tandil Begins Mozzarella Exports to Brazil
Cooperativa De Tandil has successfully executed its first export of mozzarella cheese to Brazil, marking a significant milestone in its expansion into international markets. This achievement was made possible by aligning its facilities and production processes with the sanitary requirements necessary for the export of dairy products.
Brazil, recognized as a strategic market, has been a major importer of Argentine dairy products, especially in 2026. This initial shipment highlights the growing trend of external sales in the sector, driven by increased milk production and recovering international demand.
The National Service for Agrifood Health and Quality (SENASA) emphasized that this export underscores the impact of collaborative efforts between the productive sector and regulatory bodies to enhance regional economic competitiveness. The operation not only opens new commercial opportunities but also adds value at the source, strengthens industrial investments, and broadens the international reach of Argentine dairy products.
With this first shipment, Coopagro is embarking on its journey as an exporter, adding another player to Argentina's cheese offerings for international trade.
