Conaprole Starts October With 6.1m Litres Daily
Conaprole reported average daily milk deliveries of 6.1m litres during the opening five days of October.
The figure was 7.85% above the level recorded in the same period a year earlier. Rounded to one decimal place, the increase was 7.9%.
The cooperative’s October intake reflects the seasonal rise in milk production associated with spring.
A lack of rainfall moderated that spring curve, according to the report. The change affected the pace of growth during the period covered.
Conaprole’s seasonal peak is now expected to remain below the 6.5m litres per day initially forecast.
The reported figures cover the first five days of October and refer to daily milk deliveries received by the cooperative.
