Bunge Global SA posted net profit of $318 million for the third quarter of 2026, compared with $166 million a year earlier. According to the company’s financial statements, quarterly revenue rose 7.4% to $23.8 billion from $22.2 billion a year earlier.
Bunge’s net profit rose 91.6% in the third quarter of 2026

Bunge’s diluted earnings per share from continuing operations under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) reached $1.64 for July–September, compared with $0.86 in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Adjusted earnings per share were $2.56, up from $2.27 a year earlier. This calculation excludes certain income and expense items, as well as temporary mark-to-market effects on positions.

Total adjusted segment earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased from $924 million to $997 million. The main contributions to the improvement came from the soybean processing, other oilseed processing and refining businesses. Bunge’s management attributed the results to effective operations and the expanded capabilities of its international network of production and logistics facilities. Reuters attributes the profit growth to strong oilseed processing margins, including those for soybeans.

The company reported that it continued to realize synergies from its combination with Viterra. After the end of the third quarter, a new oilseed processing line began operating at the Bunge Chevron Ag Renewables site in Destrehan, Louisiana, in the United States.

In January–September 2026, Bunge earned net profit of $1.064 billion, compared with $721 million in the first nine months of the previous year. Adjusted earnings per share for the period increased from $5.56 to $6.38. The company maintained its full-year guidance, expecting adjusted earnings per share of $9.25–$9.75 for 2026.

Bunge is one of the largest international agribusiness companies. Its activities include oilseed processing, vegetable oil and fat production, agricultural trading and logistics. Its Russian subsidiary, Bunge CIS LLC, was established when the company entered the country’s market in 2004. In Russia, Bunge primarily processed sunflower seeds and produced bottled vegetable oil. Its portfolio included the Oleina, Ideal and Maslenitsa brands; the company also purchased grain and exported it.

In September 2022, Bunge agreed to sell its Russian oilseed processing business. The buyer was Karen Vanetsyan, the controlling shareholder of Exoil Group. The transaction closed on February 3, 2023. In April 2023, the Russian legal entity was renamed Maslenitsa LLC. The plant in Voronezh Region continued operating after the change of ownership.

In July 2025, it became known that EFKO had increased its stake in Maslenitsa from 31.4% to 100%. Maslenitsa’s assets include a plant in Kolodeznoye, while its brands include Oleina and Ideal.
