Manufacturers from China presented the latest technologies in agriculture in Kostanay, which can be used in Kazakhstan. The dialogue took place within the framework of the sectoral council on agriculture of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanay region.
The Chamber of Entrepreneurs noted that one of the key areas of cooperation is the construction of dairy farms. In 2023, milk production in China increased by 6.7%, reaching a record high of 41.97 million tons. In the first half of 2024, milk production in China increased by 3.4%.
The Chinese side also presented a number of innovative water-saving technologies that can increase revenue and increase productivity, while improving the environmental friendliness of processes.
Kostanay farmers are considering all proposals, taking into account the climatic and economic characteristics of the region. The Association of Agricultural Producers of Kostanay region raised a number of questions regarding the cost of projects, payback and other aspects of financing.
Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanay region Daniyar Kuzenbayev noted that at the Chamber's site, business gets the opportunity to discuss cooperation with Chinese partners in various fields, including agriculture.
