Chilean Raw Milk Reception Increases by 4.1% by May 2023

The Chilean dairy industry experienced a 4.1% increase in the reception of raw milk, reaching a total of 968.9 million liters between January and May 2023. This growth is attributed mainly to the increased production in the regions of Los Ríos, La Araucanía, and Biobío. Despite the overall increase in reception, there was a 1.7% decline in the real price paid to producers.
