"Dairy prices are volatile and cyclical," said Charles Nicholson, a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, speaking at the World Dairy Expo, reports a DairyNews.today correspondent from the event in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

"According to the FAO-OECD forecast, dairy prices will rise by 2033," the expert stated.
Increasing consumption will remain a key driver for the industry's development and will continue.
"To meet the demands associated with the growth of global dairy consumption, productivity improvements in cows will be necessary. This entails the proper use of genetics, nutrition, and animal health management," the expert emphasized.
