The transition covers a diverse product range, including plant milks, creamers, coffees, and teas. Califia Farms, recognizing the significance of this move, aims to diminish its reliance on virgin plastic, aligning with circular economy principles and advancing its sustainability journey.

CEO Dave Ritterbush stated, "By moving to 100% rPET for our iconic curvy bottle, we're taking a major step in reducing our reliance on virgin plastic and advancing the principles of a circular economy." Califia's comprehensive sustainability efforts, led by its internal "Green Team," have already resulted in several projects that reduced the overall plastic usage, preventing four million pounds of plastic production between 2019 and 2023.

Ella Rosenbloom, Vice President of Sustainability at Califia Farms, emphasized the critical role of replacing virgin plastic with recycled plastic in "closing the loop" in a circular economy. The company remains committed to accelerating positive change and strategically addressing plastic usage to contribute to a more sustainable future.
