Bryansk Deputies Propose Tax Relief Extension to 2029 to the State Duma

The initiative was announced by Valentin Subbot, the Chairman of the Bryansk Regional Duma, as reported by TASS. The document aims to extend tax support for agricultural producers until 2029. The relief is intended for farms that have suffered losses or cannot continue operations due to actions by armed groups and terrorist attacks. The announcement also specifies that it concerns enterprises in the Bryansk region affected or ceased operations due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU). The proposal is drafted as a federal law project to amend Article 346-2 Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. It received support during the regional parliament's session. In total, deputies discussed six legislative proposals and initiatives for further consideration in the State Duma. These included amendments to various federal laws. "It is proposed to extend tax relief for agricultural producers until 2029," said Subbot. According to him, for farms unable to operate due to armed group actions and terrorist acts, even minor support is tied to stability and job retention. Subbot called the extension of the relief an economic measure for the Bryansk region. He noted that agriculture is a driving force of the regional economy, and border areas face complex challenges. He stated that the proposed support should aid in maintaining the resilience of the agricultural sector and the well-being of rural areas.
