Belarus has lowered its minimum export prices for butter for all markets except Russia
According to the document, the new minimum export price for butter with a milk fat content between 72% and 80% has been reduced to $7 per kilogram for markets excluding the Russian Federation. Previously, the price was set at $7.3 per kilogram.
For exports to the Russian market, the price remains unchanged at 580 rubles per kilogram.
This decision comes amid statements by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko regarding difficulties in selling Belarusian butter on the Russian market. He emphasized the need to strengthen export diversification, which likely prompted the adjustment in pricing policy.
