Gürler Global AŞ announced the launch of its new 5,000 square meter factory in Düzce, marking the start of domestic production for its Bebehum brand of baby continuation milk. The facility is set to manufacture innovative, probiotic-rich continuation milk using cennet persimmon and Düzce squash with hydrolyzed protein.
This development is part of the company's strategy to cater to both domestic and international markets with products equipped with modern technological advancements.
Founded in 2016, Gürler Global operates across various sectors including baby and children’s clothing and now, baby continuation milk. The company’s latest project was supported under KOSGEB's R&D, P&D, and Innovation Support Program.
Ömer Gürler, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gürler Global AŞ, emphasized the strategic move towards bolstering domestic production capabilities. "Our goal is to contribute to the healthy nutrition of babies with our high-quality and reliable products and to reduce our country's dependence on foreign imports," Gürler stated.
With this new production line, Bebehum aims to address the annual current account deficit of $110 million in the infant continuation milk sector. The company seeks to enhance Turkey's competitiveness internationally by strategically utilizing domestic and natural resources.
In addition to Bebehum, Gürler Global also markets baby and children's clothing under its Bebegen brand, which has expanded from e-commerce into retail merchandising and export within a short timeframe.
