Sundaranathan will succeed Peter Skene, who has resigned after more than 14 years with the company. In a statement, AHF Chair Peter Nathan expressed his enthusiasm for Sundaranathan's appointment, highlighting his "outstanding track record in delivering strong commercial outcomes in the dairy industry in both Australia and China."

With a robust background in brand management, new product development, and project management within the fast-moving consumer goods and dairy sectors, Sundaranathan is expected to leverage his global insights and strategic planning expertise to drive AHF's growth.

"Mahi has a deep knowledge of the infant formula category in China, and we look forward to the fresh ideas and enthusiasm that he will bring to the role as our new CEO," Nathan added.

Sundaranathan's appointment comes at a pivotal time for AHF, as the company seeks to capitalize on the increasing demand for organic and A2 dairy products in both the domestic Australian market and internationally, particularly in China.

AHF is a vertically integrated Australian dairy group that owns high-quality organic and organic A2 dairy farms, as well as a processing facility located in Southwestern Victoria. The group produces the Ocean Road Dairies Organic A2 infant formula range, which is Australia's first organic A2 infant formula made with farm-fresh Australian milk.

The announcement also detailed the key terms of Sundaranathan's executive services agreement, which includes a fixed remuneration of $350,000 per annum (exclusive of superannuation) and the potential for long-term incentives subject to shareholder approval.
