On Thursday, September 19, Arrabawn announced a milk price increase for August supplies, raising its rate by 1.25c/L to 47.15c/L, based on standard constituents of 3.3% protein and 3.6% butterfat. This marks an increase from the 45.9c/L paid in July and includes a 0.5c/L sustainability incentive payment.

Tirlán also confirmed a total payment of 46.33c/L, including VAT, for August supplies, up by 1.5c/L from the previous month. Dairygold raised its milk price by 1.25c/L to 45.75c/L, factoring in sustainability and quality bonuses.

The Carbery Group reported a 3c/L increase, which, if reflected across the four west Cork co-ops, will result in an average price of 48.03c/L, including a somatic cell count (SCC) bonus and a FutureProof sustainability bonus. Kerry Dairy Ireland raised its price to 45.25c/L, up from 44c/L in July, while Lakeland Dairies increased its payment to 46.5c/L, inclusive of a 0.5c/L sustainability payment.

These increases reflect positive trends in the dairy market as processors continue to support sustainability efforts and reward high-quality milk production.
