Armenia Plans to Subsidize Milk Purchase Price
The Government of Armenia is preparing to launch a program for indirect subsidization of the milk purchase price, announced by the country's Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan.
According to him, the beneficiaries of the new support measure will be citizens engaged in animal husbandry.
"We will soon launch a program for indirect subsidization of the milk price, which will benefit citizens engaged in animal husbandry," noted Gevorg Papoyan.
The subsidization mechanism is expected to support raw milk producers and enhance the resilience of livestock farms.
