Arla's Milk Price Remains Steady Amid Currency Adjustment

Arla's April 2025 milk prices for British farmers remain unchanged despite currency adjustments affecting the headline price.
Arla, a leading dairy cooperative, has announced that its milk price for April 2025 will remain steady for British suppliers: 48.27p per litre for conventional milk and 58.26ppl for organic milk.
However, a quarterly currency exchange rate adjustment has affected the headline price by reducing it by 0.25ppl, resulting in final prices of 48.02ppl for conventional and 58.01ppl for organic milk.
Despite slight increases in global milk supply and slower retail sales growth, Arla reports that commodity markets are slightly declining, but the overall outlook remains stable. In related news, First Milk has also declared a stable milk price for May at 45.35p per litre.
