The initiative, which covers up to 100% of training costs for enterprises, is part of Tamkeen's strategic focus on boosting the competitiveness and productivity of Bahraini talent. This move not only enriches the skill sets of employees but also supports the organizational growth of Arla Foods.

Mona Alsari, Head of HR MENA Supply Chain at Arla Foods, emphasized the company's commitment to investing in Bahraini talent as a means to secure Bahrain's future. By engaging in continuous training and development, Arla Foods aims to empower its employees to play a leading role in the Kingdom's manufacturing sector, which accounted for 14.4% of Bahrain’s GDP in the first quarter.

Tamkeen’s 2025 strategic priorities focus on enhancing Bahraini competitiveness in the private sector, equipping them with the necessary skills for career advancement, and supporting enterprise growth and digitization. Over the years, Arla Foods has benefited not only from training and employment support but also from Tamkeen’s financial initiatives, which collectively aim to strengthen Bahrain’s position in regional and international markets.

The presence of international companies like Arla Foods in Bahrain highlights the nation’s potential to develop local talent and improve supply chain efficiency while contributing to the expansion of Bahraini exports. Such collaborations reinforce the pivotal role of the private sector in driving Bahrain's economic growth and promoting Bahrainis as the preferred choice in the labor market.
