Arla Foods has announced the expansion of its yogurt offerings in the UK market, introducing two new product lines aimed at addressing diverse consumer needs for health, convenience, and indulgence.

The first addition, Arla LactoFree Natural Yogurt, is designed to replicate the taste of Arla’s classic dairy yogurt while catering to lactose-intolerant consumers. The yogurt, available in 400g tubs, is naturally high in protein and fortified with vitamin D, appealing to health-conscious shoppers.

In a bid to enhance its Icelandic-style yogurt range, Arla has also unveiled Arla Skyr Whipped, a protein-rich, creamy yogurt featuring a whipped texture layered over a fruit compote. The product is available in three indulgent flavors: strawberries and cream, caramelized orange, and coconut and white chocolate.

Additionally, Arla is launching a larger 450g version of its Arla Protein Yogurt, now offered in vanilla and strawberry flavors, each providing 45g of protein per pot.

Catriona Mantle, Associate Category Director at Arla Foods, emphasized the strategic aim behind the launches:
“Health and taste remain the primary drivers for yogurt consumption. However, consumers are shopping for specific occasions rather than just ‘yogurts.’ By broadening our range, we’re offering choices that cater to varying needs—be it functional nutrition, serving size preferences, or indulgent moments.”

These additions reflect Arla’s ongoing commitment to innovation in the yogurt category and its focus on meeting evolving consumer demands in the competitive UK market.
