The on-account price for Arla's conventional milk will rise by 0.74p per litre (ppl), bringing the UK manufacturing price to 42.44ppl. Similarly, the price for organic milk will increase by 0.74ppl, reaching 53.31ppl.

Arla farmer Arthur Fearnall commented on the market conditions, stating, "Global milk supplies remain stable while retail sales continue to grow, albeit at a slightly slower pace. Commodity markets are stabilizing, driven higher by increased fat prices. Overall, the outlook is stable."

Paul Dover, UK agricultural director, highlighted the ongoing efforts to promote sustainability through the FarmAhead initiative. "This month we have continued to promote our new name for the Arla toolbox driving sustainability on farm, FarmAhead. This is the overarching name for the full suite of tools and programs that drives sustainable dairy, including farm measurements, incentives for improvements, commercialization of farmers' efforts, and ongoing innovation."

He added, "By introducing this new package to farmers and customers, we will deliver further improvements to our climate and nature initiatives and invest in the future development of FarmAhead Technology."

This price adjustment aims to support farmers amidst stable global milk supplies and growing retail demand, ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement in dairy farming practices.
