Argentina’s Dairy Heifers Sold at 5,771 Litres Amid Lower Demand

The average price recorded for Holando dairy heifers at the Expo Rural de Rafaela was 3.04m pesos. The figure covered animals that were advanced in pregnancy as well as those that had already calved.

Expressed in milk, the price represented 5,771 litres. This was below the historical reference level of 6,000 litres cited for such animals.
