Amul has announced a price hike of Rs 2 per litre on various milk variants, effective May 1, 2025.

Amul, operated by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, announced an increase of Rs 2 per litre for milk variants such as Amul Standard, Amul Buffalo Milk, Amul Gold, Amul Slim and Trim, Amul Chai Mazza, Amul Taaza, and Amul Cow Milk. Full cream milk will see a price rise to Rs 67 from Rs 65 per litre, and bulk-vended (toned) milk to Rs 55 from Rs 53 per litre.
This follows Mother Dairy's recent price adjustment due to rising procurement costs driven by the early onset of summer and heatwave conditions. The revised prices are effective in regions including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand.
