The newly commissioned SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic can efficiently fill 12,000 SIG Slimline carton packs per hour and boasts the versatility to accommodate four different volumes, ranging from 500ml to 1,100ml, on the same filling line.

With the addition of these two state-of-the-art SIG filling lines, including the SIG XSlim 24 Aseptic, Amul Dairy now boasts a total of five SIG filling lines, enhancing its packaging capacity and enabling penetration into diverse market segments with new product lines.

Amul plans to utilize the new filling lines to package white milk in 200ml and 1,000ml carton packs, while its range of unique fruit and whey drinks under the Amul Tru brand will be available in 150ml aseptic carton packages, offering consumers a variety of choices.

Samuel Sigrist, CEO at SIG, expressed satisfaction with the strengthened collaboration with Amul, viewing the commissioning of additional SIG filling machines as a pivotal step in driving Amul's vision of delivering a broad spectrum of products and meeting evolving market trends effectively.

Abdelghany Eladib, President & General Manager IMEA at SIG, underscored the significance of the partnership by stating, "The launch of two new SIG filling lines at Amul Dairy's Khatraj plant underscores our commitment to providing Indian consumers with high-quality offerings and reflects the deepening of our partnership with Amul."

She emphasized that SIG's advanced packaging solutions will empower Amul to introduce products in various volume sizes, catering to diverse consumer preferences and market demands.
