Amul Dairy Achieves Record-Breaking Turnover in FY 2023-24

Amul Dairy, the Gujarat-based Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd., has reported its highest-ever business turnover of Rs 12,880 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24, marking an impressive 9 percent surge compared to the preceding financial year.
Chairman of Amul Dairy, Vipulbhai Patel, announced the milestone, attributing the remarkable growth to the dairy's robust performance and strong market position.
Amidst this success, Amul Dairy procured a total of 173 crore kilograms of milk from milk producers during the year, demonstrating a notable 15% increase from the previous year. In line with its commitment to supporting milk producers, Amul Dairy paid Rs 1000 per kilogram of fat, representing an 11% increase from the previous financial year.
Chairman Patel underscored Amul Dairy’s endeavors to enhance productivity in milk animals through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as sex-sorted semen and embryo transfer.
Furthermore, the establishment of a Total Mixed Ration (TMR) plant at Sarsa farm aims to provide balanced nutrition to milch animals, thereby fostering improved overall productivity and health.
