Almarai and Social Development Bank Partner to Launch Culinary Training Initiative in Riyadh

Almarai Company, in collaboration with the Social Development Bank, has announced the launch of the "Almarai Chefs Program," an initiative designed to bolster and empower owners of micro culinary enterprises in the Riyadh region. This partnership underscores both entities' commitment to fostering entrepreneurship within the food sector.
The cooperation agreement, signed by Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader, CEO of Almarai Company, and Engineer Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi, CEO of the Social Development Bank, outlines various collaborative efforts between the two organizations. Almarai will finance culinary training projects, contribute to identifying targeted activities for financing and training, and provide food products, equipment, and tools for participating projects. Meanwhile, the Social Development Bank, through its Dulani Business Center, will offer solutions and services aimed at empowering the targeted groups with necessary development programs and will coordinate with Almarai to nominate family-owned projects for the program.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the initiative, Al Bader highlighted the significant impact the Almarai Chefs Program is expected to have on nurturing nascent entrepreneurs in the food industry, offering them ongoing support and enhancing their contributions to this essential sector.
Engineer Al Humaidi elaborated on the goals of the partnership, stating, "This agreement aims to support very small cooking projects and productive family businesses in the Riyadh region, helping them evolve into sustainable ventures with tangible economic returns. We are committed to continuously backing innovators to launch distinctive projects that enhance the food and culinary sector in the Kingdom."
