AI Technology Enhances Efficiency in Dairy Production at the EXPO
At the recent EXPO, Suhas Patel, CEO of Tvarit, introduced an AI-driven solution designed to enhance efficiency in the dairy industry. The AI Co-Pilot for Dairy Industry aims to support sustainable and zero-waste production using advanced software that optimizes numerous parameters involved in cheese production.
Patel highlighted that traditional optimization methods fall short due to their inability to manage the vast number of variables in dairy production. The AI solution, however, can simulate human work processes and automatically graph different production areas. This allows for better optimization of parameters like coagulation, rennet, and temperature, ultimately improving product quality and yield.
One notable success was reported by a client who saw their efficiency rate increase from 37% to 56% within a year by using Tvarit's technology. This was achieved through reducing moisture variation and increasing yields, highlighting the potential for significant operational improvements.
Tvarit's AI technology is gaining traction in the US market and is becoming a growing trend in Austria and the Netherlands. The UK is also emerging as a new market for this technology, with the return on investment being described as relatively short.
Patel emphasized the importance of dynamic generative AI prescriptions in improving plant outcomes, suggesting that such technology is crucial for future-proofing dairy production against inefficiencies.
