Agrotekh-Garant Slavyansky closes dairy farm due to losses
The agricultural enterprise Agrotekh-Garant Slavyansky, part of the Voronezh group Agrotekh Garant, stopped its dairy farming operations and ceased the farm's activities. This was announced on October 15 by the company's General Director, Dmitry Ukhin.
According to him, the dairy direction had 800 million rubles invested over the past four years, but it remained unprofitable. Losses are estimated at 10-20 million rubles. The farm cultivates about 4 thousand hectares, so this result is of significant importance to it, as noted by the manager.
Another factor was the requirements for manure handling. To comply, the farm would need to equip a concrete platform costing 15-20 million rubles.
The enterprise also failed to negotiate an increase in the purchase price of milk with processors. "There's no point in them raising prices if the market offers cheaper raw materials," said Ukhin.
However, the financial position of the Agrotekh Garant group as a whole remains stable. Since its founding in 2016, the company has not reported any losses.
In 2025, the group reported a net profit of 52 million rubles with revenue of 431 million rubles. These figures relate to the group of companies as a whole, not just the closed dairy farm.
