Agroleite Technology Park Expands with Significant Investment

The Agroleite Technology Park, located in Castro, Paraná, will undergo a significant expansion following an investment of approximately R$ 11 million. This funding, provided by Castrolanda Cooperativa Agroindustrial, is designed to transform the park into a year-round innovation center for the dairy sector, moving away from its previous focus on the annual fair.

This expansion will enhance the park's ability to offer continuous access to businesses, technologies, training, and networking opportunities. It will house various organizations, including those in the animal nutrition, veterinary medicine, agricultural technology, and education sectors. The Municipal Secretariat for Science, Technology, and Innovation of Castro will also have a presence.

In addition to expanding business facilities, the park will improve its infrastructure, adding permanent features such as expanded restrooms, a permanent medical facility, and upgraded water supply systems. The Arena Conexão will also be upgraded to include fixed plenaries, a large screen, and professional communication and sound systems, facilitating events throughout the year.

Future plans include the acquisition of an 80-hectare area opposite the current park, which will be integrated into the strategic expansion plan over the next five years. This is expected to attract more companies to the area, further strengthening the innovation ecosystem.

Currently, the park hosts 56 companies and is accredited by the Separtec – Sistema Estadual de Parques Tecnológicos. It collaborates with universities, research centers, startups, and cooperatives focused on dairy production innovation.

With this new investment cycle, Agroleite aims to provide dairy producers with a permanent venue to explore technological advancements, participate in training, and engage directly with companies and institutions in Brazil's dairy industry.
