"Agrofirma 'Rodina'" Leads in Cow Productivity in Kazakhstan in 2024

The ElDala.kz portal, based on data from the Republican Chamber of Dairy and Combined Breeds of Cattle Qazaq Sut, presented a ranking of the top 10 dairy companies in Kazakhstan by cow productivity for 2024. The leader of the ranking is "Agrofirma 'Rodina'" from the Akmola region, which showed an average annual milk yield of 11,703 kg per forage cow, which is 3% higher than the previous year's figures.
In 2024, 38 new dairy farms were commissioned in Kazakhstan, resulting in an increase of 15,960 heads of dairy cows. The average yield per head reached 7,650 kg, surpassing the 2023 figure (7,323 kg). Over the past five years (2020-2024), 189 dairy farms have been built or expanded in the country, leading to an increase in the number of quality livestock by 67,459 heads. These measures contributed to a 21% growth in milk production, and the average yield per head increased by 17%.
