Adisseo Launches Program to Enhance Amino Acid Balancing in Dairy Nutrition

Adisseo, a global leader in amino acid balancing for dairy nutrition, has launched a partnership program to promote the use of amino acid-balanced formulations. This initiative is designed to assist feed mills and dairy farmers in maximizing the benefits of amino acid (AA) balancing. The program aims to provide feed mills with access to cost-effective sources of protected liquid methionine and guidance on manufacturing cost-effective compound feed.

According to a recent evaluation by the International Farm Comparison Network (IFCN), implementing AA balancing could increase annual income by €293 per cow per year across 18 typical European farms in nine countries. This highlights the potential economic benefit for dairy farmers adopting this approach.

The program emphasizes practical AA formulation knowledge for nutritionists and aims to demonstrate the essential nature of this practice to farmers. By communicating the financial benefits of AA balancing clearly, Adisseo intends to engage all actors in the dairy food chain, including milk processors and feed mills.

Adisseo's partnership strategy involves collaborating with feed mills through tailored support and communication strategies. This is intended to enhance farmer engagement and promote the advantages of AA-balanced nutrition, thereby supporting the sustainability and profitability of dairy operations.
