Pure Dairy is nearing the completion of its state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-metre cheese manufacturing and processing facility in Dandenong South, with production scheduled to commence in April 2025. Situated in Melbourne’s southeastern industrial precinct, the new facility will feature advanced dairy technology previously unseen in Australia, setting a new standard for the local industry.
Structural construction on the site has been completed, and the installation of specialized automated processing equipment is well underway. Construction: The main structure has been finalized, with internal space configuration progressing. Additionally, a dedicated test kitchen is under development, aimed at dairy product innovation.

Next Steps
As the facility enters its final phase of equipment installation and operational testing, it prepares to manufacture a range of premium dairy products—including mozzarella, cheddar, and specialty cheeses—for both domestic and export markets. Once fully operational, the Dandenong South plant is expected to create over 100 jobs, giving a boost to the local economy and providing new opportunities for suppliers and manufacturing partners.
