Nebraska’s Dairy Renaissance: First New Plant in 60 Years Breaks Ground

Nebraska is set to witness a transformative leap in its dairy industry as DARI Processing, LLC breaks ground on a cutting-edge $186.3 million dairy processing facility in Seward. This development, the first of its kind in over 60 years, highlights the state’s strategic investment in enhancing and modernizing its dairy infrastructure. The plant is scheduled to be fully operational by 2027, promising a significant boost in the state's processing capabilities.

The facility, located on a 40-acre site within the Seward Rail Campus, will have the capacity to process approximately 1.8 million pounds of milk per day, focusing on producing shelf-stable dairy products.
