Lactalis has introduced two new specialty cheeses to its renowned Président brand, enriching its portfolio with unique flavors and textures that cater to cheese aficionados.
The newly unveiled Président Leerdammer Swiss-Gouda Style Cheese, crafted in Holland from the milk of pasture-raised cows, blends Swiss and Dutch Gouda styles to create an "irresistibly smooth, mild, and nutty" flavor profile. This cheese, originating from the historic cheese-making municipality of Leerdam, is available in wheels and exact weight wedges, packaged in resealable containers for freshness.
Accompanying the Président Leerdammer is the introduction of Le Braison, a "decadent and delicious" sheep's milk cheese designed to be served hot. Produced in the Grands Causses region of France—also known for producing the famed Société Roquefort—Le Braison offers a creamy texture that becomes delightfully rich when heated, making it a perfect indulgence for cooler weather or special occasions.
Debbie Seife, Assistant Marketing Director for Président at Lactalis, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion of their product line. "This fall, we are proud to present Président Leerdammer, a unique blend of Swiss and Dutch Gouda styles, alongside our newly launched Le Braison, a refined hot sheep's milk cheese from France," Seife said. "These new offerings exemplify our dedication to bringing innovative and high-quality products to our customers and consumers, making any day feel like an occasion."
