Sequeira & Sequeira, founded in 1986 by partners and brothers José and António Sequeira, has garnered acclaim for its exceptional operations and products over the years. The acquisition marks a pivotal moment for both companies, recognizing the dedication of Sequeira & Sequeira's workforce and the quality of its offerings.
Expressing optimism about the acquisition, José and António Sequeira highlighted the potential for growth and development under Lactalis' stewardship. The deal encompasses Sequeira & Sequeira's diverse portfolio, including Lacticínios do Paiva, a renowned cheese producer established in 1933, which has since evolved into a leading player in Portugal's cheese industry with international distribution channels.
