Heinz has joined forces with Cathedral City, the cheddar brand by Saputo Dairy UK, to unveil its latest innovation - Heinz Cheesy Beanz. This inventive product combines the classic Heinz baked beans with the rich flavor of Cathedral City cheddar, catering to the culinary preferences of UK consumers.
The collaboration was spurred by Heinz's research, revealing that an impressive 47% of UK consumers consider beans and cheese to be an ideal food pairing. Alessandra de Dreuille, Director of Meals and Insights at Heinz, expressed enthusiasm, stating, "We know Brits absolutely love pairing beans with cheese, and so we’re thrilled to finally announce our partnership with Cathedral City – bringing beans lovers up and down the country the ultimate perfect match."
Neil Stewart, Head of Cheese Marketing at Cathedral City, shared in the excitement, saying, "We’re so excited to be teaming up with Heinz to bring this truly unique and delicious flavour to the UK. With 64% of Brits agreeing that cheese makes beans even tastier, it feels like a no-brainer."
This collaboration follows a series of innovations from both brands. Heinz, known for its iconic ketchup, ventured into pickle-flavored ketchup, tomato ketchup-filled hash browns, a culinary tomatoes range, a line of hot sauces, and Mayo Mashupz. Meanwhile, Cathedral City introduced new products such as smoked and red Leicester cheeses and a delectable toastie in partnership with pickle brand Branston.
The Heinz Cheesy Beanz partnership is poised to offer consumers another exciting and high-quality addition to their culinary choices, blending the familiarity of two beloved brands in one delicious fusion.
