Conaprole Announces Price Increase and Extraordinary Bonus

In a recent announcement, Conaprole has stated that there will be a 2% increase in the basic prices for milk producers starting January. The price per kilogram of fat has been set at $88.62, while the price per kilogram of protein is $228.74.

Conaprole's management cited adjustments in the foreign exchange rate as the reason for the price hike. Moreover, an extraordinary bonus amounting to $4 million will also be distributed. The average price for milk with 3.89% fat and 3.53% protein is set at $16.94 per liter, equivalent to approximately $0.393 in the US market.

This bonus will be available from February 21, paid in US dollars, with partial availability for cooperative members (60% to Producers and 40% with balance).

The announcement reflects the impact of international prices and the cooperative's sales on its pricing strategy.
