In 2025, Yili's New Zealand dairy group, operating under the Yili Oceania umbrella, achieved its highest-ever consolidated revenue of $1.58 billion, representing a 14% increase from the previous year's $1.38 billion. The group's pre-tax profit reached $58.44 million, marking a 319% rise compared to 2024.
The Yili Oceania group comprises several companies, including Westland Milk Products, Oceania Dairy, Canary, Pure Nutrition, and EasiYo. This financial success follows a strategic transformation that emphasized collaboration among these entities, leading to significant growth despite challenging market conditions with high milk prices.
The forecasted milk price for the 24/25 season was set at $10.16/kgMS, a 30% increase from the previous season's $7.83/kgMS. Executive Director Zhiqiang Li highlighted the shift towards value-added dairy products and structural upgrades as key factors in achieving solid growth.
