Xandô Launches A2 E Zero Lactose Cream with 35% Fat
The cream is designed for sweet and savoury preparations, including fillings and toppings. Xandô says it retains the fat level associated with the creaminess and consistency required in confectionery and professional gastronomy. The product is also gluten-free and Kosher-certified.
The launch included a redesign of the label, which gives greater prominence to the A2 seal and the product’s digestibility claim. Alexandre Sardo, Xandô’s marketing manager, said the change was intended to make those characteristics clearer to people selecting ingredients at food establishments.
For food-service operators, the identification is used both when raw materials are selected and when the characteristics of prepared foods are communicated. The company presents the recycled-PET container as the first of its kind in the cream category.
Xandô’s A2 product history began with its first A2 milk in 2022. The company introduced its zero-lactose cream in 2023 in 300g and 1.01kg formats, followed by a new A2 type A milk range in 2025.
The cream is produced at Fazenda Colorado in Araras, in São Paulo state, where Xandô operates its type A milk production and processing activities.
Other companies have also expanded A2 and lactose-free offerings. Verde Campo presented an A2 milk range at APAS Show in May 2026, while its lactose-free protein dessert and Lacfree sliced cheeses were shown at Naturaltech 2026.
