World Dairy Expo Unveils 2024 Dairy Forage Seminars Lineup

The World Dairy Expo (WDE) has announced the lineup for its 2024 Dairy Forage Seminars, which will focus on the latest research and innovations in forage quality, harvesting, and storage.
These seminars will cover topics such as hay, alfalfa, milk, dairy grazing, and automatic milking systems. Scheduled for October, the seminars will be held on the Dairy Forage Seminar Stage at the south end of the Trade Center.
The 2024 Dairy Forage Seminars schedule is as follows:
“Making Hay the Western Way” presented by Hardrock Farms in Wheatland, Wyoming, on Oct. 2 at 10:00 a.m.
“Alfalfa Persistence is Profit” presented by the UW-Madison Crops and Soils Division of Extension on Oct. 2 at 1:30 p.m.
“What is New in Alfalfa Production Systems?” presented by the UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences on Oct. 3 at 10:00 a.m.
“MILK 2024 — A Tool to Predict Energy Value of Corn Silage” presented by UW-Madison Ruminant Nutrition, Animal, and Dairy Science on Oct. 3 at 1:30 p.m.
“Methane, Brix, and Interseeding: What is New in Dairy Grazing Research?” presented by the USDA-ARS-Pasture Systems and Watershed Management Research Unit on Oct. 4 at 10:00 a.m.
“Precision Milking Research on Automatic Milking Systems and Associated Animal Productivity and Health” presented by the Dairy Forage Research Unit on Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
