World Dairy Expo 2026 Organizes Farm Tours and Program for International Participants
Local farm tours are scheduled for September 30 and October 1. Each day, participants will have the opportunity to visit two enterprises, meet with their owners and managers, learn about production organization, and ask questions. The participation fee is $50 per day, including transfers between farms and the exhibition complex. Space is limited.
On October 1, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) will host a business session for international buyers. Participants will be able to meet with American suppliers of cattle semen and embryos. Meetings will be organized based on each buyer’s needs.
On the same day, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, there will be a reception for registered international visitors and commercial exhibitors. In 2026, the event will take place at a new venue — The Tanbark. Participation in the reception is free of charge.
The International Dairy Short Course is scheduled for October 2. The free educational program will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, but pre-registration is required.
There will be an international registration desk at the expo. It will be open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Translation services will be available for international guests in Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. An international lounge for meetings and negotiations is also provided.
Participants can purchase admission tickets in advance through the World Dairy Expo digital platform. The organizers also provide official invitations for visa application purposes, emphasizing that such a letter does not guarantee entry into the USA.
A mobile app with the event schedule, trade show map, and dairy cattle competition results will be available to attendees.
For those unable to attend in person, a subscription to ExpoTV is offered at a cost of $30, excluding taxes. The service will broadcast dairy cattle competitions, award ceremonies, and educational seminars live and on-demand. Subscribers will have access to the archive until January 1, 2027, after which the video materials will become publicly available.
