West Country Dairy Awards Offer £20,000 in Grants for 2026

The West Country Dairy Awards, established in 1925, are inviting students pursuing education in the dairy sector to apply for their annual grants. Each year, over £20,000 is distributed among successful applicants who demonstrate a commitment to the dairy industry. The awards aim to support individuals from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and Somerset.

The eligibility criteria extend to students of all ages engaged in further education related to the dairy industry. Children of farmers and farm employees, as well as those who can showcase their potential to contribute to the industry, are encouraged to apply. The application process includes interviews within the applicant's home county, with the strongest candidates advancing to a final interview day typically held in September.

All qualifying applicants receive some financial aid, while finalists are granted larger awards. However, the funding does not cover work placements or work experience. Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
