VTB allocates 3.45 billion rubles to Kazminsky Dairy Plant for expansion

VTB has opened financing for LLC Kazminsky Dairy Plant amounting to 3.45 billion rubles. The funds are provided as part of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture's preferential lending program. The deal was announced by VTB's Vice President and Management Board Chairman Denis Bortnikov during the finale of the second season of the "Business Battle" competition in Stavropol.

The plant will use the money for building production facilities and purchasing technological equipment. The project plans to increase the output of traditional dairy products and expand the dessert assortment. The new product line will include glazed curds, yogurts with additional flavors, and soft cheese.

The designed line will be capable of processing 200 tons of milk daily, equating to 73,000 tons of raw material annually. The newly updated product lineup is scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2027.

According to Denis Bortnikov, preferential lending reduces the financial burden on food industry enterprises and is used for updating equipment, expanding capacities, and assortment. He described the cooperation with the plant as a credit deal and a contribution to the region's economic development and market supply.

Sergey Komarov, the plant's General Director, stated that the enterprise will maintain its focus on natural ingredients: the recipes for new products will not use artificial additives, and the milk raw materials will come from its own farms. The updated complex will be located near the existing production on the territory of advanced socio-economic development in Nevinnomyssk, where tax incentives are available.

The company produces dairy products under the "Molochnaya Legenda" brand. Its range includes more than 80 items, with deliveries to 19 regions of Russia. The plant processes raw milk and produces pasteurized milk, kefir, and other basic dairy products for the markets of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts.
