Yogurt production in Russia decreases by 0.4%, consumption rises

Yogurt production from January to September 2025 reached 600.8 thousand tons, which is 0.4% less than the same period in 2024.
The decline also affected the fermented milk products segment (excluding cottage cheese): production decreased by 1.9% to 2.88 million tons.
Meanwhile, yogurt consumption continues to rise. From January to August 2025, it increased by 1.7%, reaching 565.3 thousand tons.
Finished product stocks at the beginning of October were 7.5 thousand tons, which is 2% lower than the previous year's level, indicating a balance of supply and demand and a reduction in inventory levels.
