Thanks to state support for the private sector, Turkmenistan is actively developing the production of high-quality products that meet international standards. A striking example of this trend is the private enterprise "Erteki", whose ice cream is in great demand both in the domestic market and abroad. The company's specialists are aiming to export their products in the future.

The summer heat makes ice cream especially in demand, and the high quality, variety of flavors, and attractive packaging of "Erteki" products confirm the professionalism of the producers. The enterprise, located in Ashgabat, began producing ice cream before 2003, but it was from this time that it gained wide popularity and began to be supplied to stores and markets throughout the country.
Today, the company employs more than 30 people, mainly young women. In the summer season, the enterprise processes up to 5 tons of milk per day, using exclusively local raw materials, which emphasizes support for domestic producers.
"Over the years of work, we have realized: if you work hard, the results will surely come. Now we produce more than 35 types of ice cream. Especially popular are the varieties "Lezzetsöýer", "Owaz", "Gawun", "Garpyz", "Berkarar", "Bagtyýarlyk"," said chief technologist Guvanch Amangeldiev. Special attention is paid to the names of the products, which reflect the local flavor and are easy to remember.
The production facilities of "Erteki" are equipped with modern equipment from China and Italy, which guarantees the high quality of the produced ice cream. Technologist Begench Remezanov noted that the company has established the production of ice cream cakes, which are in demand at celebrations, mastered the production of chocolate glaze, and plans to start producing its own waffle cones, constantly expanding the range.
Large packages of ice cream (215 and 380 grams) for family consumption are especially popular. The enterprise actively cooperates with local livestock farmers, purchasing milk and other components, such as powdered milk, butter, and sugar, as well as cocoa for some types of products.
