FEEDLOT analysts recorded a significant increase in feed additive prices in Russia for the period from September 16 to 22, which is contrary to global trends. In particular, methionine and valine rose in price by 14%, reaching $4.44 per kg, while threonine and arginine increased in price by 13%. Lysine sulfate showed an increase of 4.5%, and lysine HCL - by 1.8%.
However, some amino acids, such as tryptophan and isoleucine, fell by 5.1% and 4.4% respectively. There is also a decline in the prices of biotin, vitamins B5 and B9, although vitamin A1000 has tripled in price over the past month.
The Chinese market has seen other trends: despite the rise in threonine prices, the cost of methionine is falling due to weak demand.
